He came home unexpectedly early, but I happened to be outside and saw him! So I wasn't surprised when he texted me with a guess where photo!
This silhouette immediately made me think of a certain illustration by Pauline Baynes...
Erich took me on a jaunt to Laredo and Encinak! Here we are at a little restaurant with four menu items--it's only open two days a week and only one lady does all the cooking waiting etc. --and we were in the middle of nowhere and starving so it was a very welcome sight!
The girls are enjoying the kitties so much.
Chloe put on her shirt all by herself...

Crazy how warm the water was--like unpleasantly warm when you first got in, but as evaporation kicked in, it became just right ( as long as you aren't stickler for cold swimming water : ) Redistributing rocks Shlobbing up Zevia Underwater bench perfect for eating purposes.
