A new recipe!

We stayed home from church because Erich was feeling crummy and Charlotte was fussy--so she might have been too--and made this for lunch! Erich grilled the meat, and then it simmered a few minutes before serving. Quite delicious, and definitely will do again! So easy too!

Oh and then it was very sad, we got an emergency service call and Erich had to go on it because Daniel ( on call today) didn't have any tools with him. I have been praying for Erich since he left that it will go well and he will be strengthened. Also that I will have wisdom in my actions and words concerning the election working. I have been dreading it for a few days--partly because I fear Erich will have to go by himself and spend the whole day and evening sitting and then driving around with the weird Mrs. L, and then if I go, not looking forward to all that time spent with Mrs. L the election judge. Last time it was nicer because at least Mrs. Bujol of the mustache was there too.

Well, I was just reading that love is self-sacrificing--so I need to let happen what does and think of others first. Maybe that means having a delicious late night dessert ready for when he gets back from depositing votes, and a cheerful smile and lots of support--I rather think that is it.
