Recent things...

I cut these in the dark the evening before it was supposed to freeze, and have enjoyed the luscious color and perfectness of the blooms! It didn't freeze then, but I was glad of the impetus to get out there and bring some flowers in!

Only .78 a pound--should I have bought one? It reminded me of the medeival carol- 

"The boar's head in hand bear I,

Bedecked with sage and rosemary.

And I pray you my masters be merry,

'Quoth Estes in convivio.'"

We brought lunch to the guys in Pleasanton Saturday, and I saw the "boars head" in Walmart shopping afterwards.

It has been so nice to feel content with my body--Erich is so good at encouraging me and has been a great help to me in accepting the way God made me! I realize that there are so many things that before Erich I complained to myself about, that I don't give a second thought to now! Lovely.
